Home of 2030: six architects named on shortlist

The UK government has revealed the six finalists for its Home of 2030 initiative. Launched in November 2019, the competition has been designed to encourage the best and brightest talents of the design industry to create environmentally sustainable, practical and scalable ideas for future homes. The eagerly awaited Bill Bensley glamping resort, Bensley Collection – Shinta Mani Wild, which is set deep within the wilderness of Cambodia’s South Cardamom National Park, will open on 1 November 2018. The resort will offer 14 one-bedroom luxury tents – all sized at 100sq m (1,076sq ft) – and one two-bedroom luxury tent – sized at 140sqm (1,507sq ft).
