Viceroy Bocas del Toro in Panama to launch with rainforest spa

Viceroy is developing a resort with a rainforest spa on the Bocas del Toro peninsula in Panama. The Viceroy resort and branded residences will form part of a 165-hectare development called CasiCielo, which translates from Spanish to “Almost Heaven”. US-based Viceroy Hotel Group will operate a flagship luxury hotel at the Cocobay entertainment and hospitality hub, currently under development in Da Nang, Vietnam. Viceroy is set to open a resort and residences in Bocas del Toro, Panama, with dramatic overwater villas and three miles of private white sand beaches. US-based hospitality operator Viceroy Hotel Group (VHG) has revealed that Abu Dhabi's iconic Yas Hotel will now be known as Yas Viceroy following the property's rebranding.
