Plans revealed for US$2bn Oklahoma theme park

Plans have been tabled for a US$2bn theme park and entertainment destination development in north-east Oklahoma, US. The development would be built in phases, starting with a large-scale caravan/RV park with cabins scheduled to open phase one in spring 2025. A new attraction set to house more than 100,000 Bob Dylan artefacts will open in Oklahoma in 2021, with architects Olson Kundig to design the exhibition space. There is already a Bob Dylan Archive situated in the University of Tulsa’s Helmerich Center for American Research at Gilcrease Museum. Kinslow, Keith & Todd Architects (KKT) have unveiled concept plans for the Oklahoma Weather Museum in ‘Tornado Alley’ Tulsa, US. The structure, standing at 250-300ft tall, (76-90m) tall, takes design inspiration from a hurricane and has aptly been dubbed ‘Tornado Tower’.
