The Oberoi Group will open its newest resort in Marrakech on 1 December 2019. Located on 28 acres of landscaped gardens with citrus orchards, olive groves, the new resort hotel has views of the Atlas Mountains. A striking new museum dedicated to the life and work of French fashion icon Yves Saint Laurent has opened today (19 October) in Marrakech, Morocco. French architecture firm Studio KO designed the 4,000sq m (43,000sq ft) terracotta brick home of the Musée Yves Saint Laurent on a site next to the city’s Jardin Majorelle, a garden the designer acquired himself to save it from being destroyed by developers. Studio KO tease first detailed images of Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech museum

French architecture firm Studio KO have teased the first design images of their forthcoming Yves Saint Laurent museum in Marrakech, Morocco. The renderings reveal a terracotta brick structure, formed of curved lines and straight edges. GLA Hotels has opened Selman Marrakech hotel in Morocco - its first managed property in the Moroccan resort city. The 56-room Selman Marrakech was designed by French architect Jacques Garcia and is owned by the local Bennani Smires family of entrepreneurs.
