Holloway Li works with Tripolers adventure travel to enter the luxury hospitality market with string of Silk Road hotels

Tripolers, a travel tourism agency headquartered in Beijing, is working with architects Holloway Li to build a series of boutique luxury hotels following the route of the ancient Silk Road in western China. El Equipo Creativo has completed the interior design for Barcelona restaurant, Disfrutar, giving it a distinctly Mediterranean flavour. Ripon pool plans postponed

Plans for a new £3m swimming pool in Ripon, North Yorkshire, have been postponed by Harrogate Borough Council (HBC) due to the economic downturn. The development was to be funded from the sale of the city's existing spa baths and through prudential borrowing, but HBC has now admitted that it is currently unable to afford the revenue costs of repaying loans.
