New leisure centre planned for Hinckley

A new leisure centre is set to open in Hinckley, Leicestershire by March 2015. The centre will feature a main 25m pool with six lanes and a learner pool. It will also house a sports hall with six badminton courts, a health and fitness facility with 100 stations, two dance studios / multi-purpose rooms, a climbing wall and a health suite. Cineworld to anchor £80m Hinckley scheme

Cinema operator Cineworld has been confirmed one of the anchor tenants for an £80m redevelopment of a bus station in Hinckley, Leicestershire. A five-screen multiplex cinema forms part of the 270,000sq ft (25,084sq m) complex, which will also include a bowling alley, a Sainsbury's supermarket and restaurants. The Tin Hat Regeneration Partnership - a joint venture that comprises Coalville-based Wilson Bowden Developments and Centenary Ashcroft – is leading the scheme.
