GHM to launch Maldives resort with overwater accommodation and spa rooms

Hotel group General Hotel Management (GHM) has revealed details of The Chedi Kudavillingili, its first resort in the Maldives, which will open later this year. The Chedi Club Tanah Gajah Ubud resort, Bali, is undergoing a change of management and a rebrand, with the handover scheduled for 1 January 2020. Owned by Singapore-based General Hotel Management (GHM), the 20-villa-property will be taken over by hotel management group, Hadiprana, and rebranded as Tanah Gajah, a resort by Hadiprana. Beneath the renowned Gemstock peak of the Useren valley, the Chedi Andermatt resort – owned by Andermatt Swiss Alps AG – is now open for business. The Swiss resort's 25,833sq ft (2,399sq m) spa is being operated by GHM and its 10 treatment rooms are used for a range of offerings using products by Alpienne, ila, Ren and SpaRitual.
