LXA designs compact neighbourhood boxing gym

LXA has inserted a 2,000sq ft (186sq m) indoor/outdoor boxing gym into a mixed-use building in London for use by local residents and office workers. The Secret Boxing Gym is located in a former ground floor office space that had full-height glazing on two sides. Nightclub-themed boutique boxing studio operator Kobox has opened a third London location, having briefed architects SHH to bring its brand to life with "unusual design elements". George Foreman III – son of the heavyweight prizefighter – and Boston-based practice Studio Troika have designed the EverybodyFights boxing gym in Philadelphia.
