COMO Shambhala launches digital membership

by Megan Whitby | 22 May 2020

Singaporean holistic wellness brand Como Shambhala is offering a digital home wellness programme membership and private one-on-one personal consultations with its international network of healers.

The programme is named Como Shambhala By My Side and features a variety of wellness and fitness classes for all levels including tutorials focused on mindfulness and meditation, Pilates, Barre workouts and Yoga.

To gain access to the content people must pay a monthly subscription fee of £13 (US$16, €15). After paying a subscription, members can access the tutorials remotely via a smartphone or a laptop.

Originally conceived for Como Shambhala’s Urban Escape guests in Singapore, the platform has been developed to provide members with tools to explore new ways to recharge their health and overall wellbeing during lockdown.

For more in-depth programmes, users can enjoy exclusive access to private one-on-one consultations with Como Shambhala’s expert nutritionists, naturopaths, physiotherapists or life coaches from £95 (US$116, €106) for 45 minutes. Sessions can be booked for up to 90 minutes and are charged individually.

Established in 1997 by Christina Ong, Como Shambhala is the wellness brand of hotel group Como Hotels and Resorts – also founded by Ong. The wellness concept has three dedicated wellness centres – called Urban Escapes – located in London, Bangkok and Singapore.

Como Hotels and Resorts destinations featuring the inhouse wellness concept can be found in Australia, North America, the Maldives, Italy, Indonesia, Thailand, Bhutan and the UK.
