Sacred texts exhibition at The British Library

Some of the world’s most important religious texts are being brought together at an exhibition at the British Library.
Sacred texts from the Library’s Jewish, Christian and Muslim collections are presented alongside treasures on loan from other institutions.
Created by UK-based exhibition designer Real Studios, the 575sq m attraction includes displays featuring more than 230 objects and is centred around a square silver enclosure in which three ancient texts appear to float in mid-air.
The historical content has been divided into main subject headings and allows visitors to discover the similarities and contrasts of the three major religions.
The exhibition will run until 23 September.
