Private club Crow Wood previews £4m spa facility
Lancashire private fitness and leisure facility Crow Wood, Burnley, has opened its doors to around 1,200 people keen to get a preview of their new £4m spa development.
The Woodland Spa is expected to open in the next couple of weeks but tours have been held to showcase the development.
Treatments on offer include a hydrotherapy pool, serenity pool, sauna, hot tubs, Roman foot baths, ice fountain, experience showers, Rasul mud chamber and salt steam.
A spa boutique offers products by Carita, Decleor, NEOM, OPI, Fake Bake and Lash Perfect.
Crow Wood director Oliver Brown said: "We were keen to ensure that our valued members would be amongst the very first to see The Woodland Spa redevelopment.
He said feedback from the tours was positive and many non-members signed up for packages and many current members upgraded theirs.
Crow Wood was established in 2001 with a £10m investment and sits in 100 acres of woodland and includes gymnasium, pool, spa, equestrian centre and a soccer complex. It employs 107 people.
In October owner Andrew Brown said the spa development was necessary for Crow Wood to remain a leader in the leisure and spa industry.
