Second Ritz-Carlton opens in Dubai
The 341-room Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre has officially opened. The hotel, also offering 124 executive residences, is the second Ritz-Carlton in Dubai and the company's sixth property in the region.
The hotel is the only one directly linked to the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), with its focal point being No. 5, the hotel bar - which features a 30m (100ft), 3,000-bottle wine wall - situated at the end of the route from the DIFC. Dining options include Blue Rain, a signature Thai fine-dining restaurant; Can Can, a French all-day dining brasserie; and a Center Cut steakhouse. Also available is the Lobby Lounge & Terrace which offers afternoon tea.
Recreational facilities include a health club featuring Life Fitness equipment; an indoor pool; and a Ritz-Carlton Spa, the latter offering two suites with a private whirlpool bath, eleven single treatment rooms, male and female steam rooms and a range of face and body treatments using Natura Bisse, Ila and exclusive Kyoku for Men products. A particular feature of the hotel is a 10-storey outdoor waterfall, one of eight water features situated throughout the property.
