Bulgari Hotels and Resorts has opened its latest luxury property in the Knightsbridge area of London, UK - the 85-bedroom Bulgari Hotel and Residences, London.
The new hotel has been developed in accordance with best practices for sustainable design outlined by the BREEAM environmental assessment method for buildings.
Facilities include a 2,000sq m (21,528sq ft) spa, health and beauty area, which offers ESPA treatments and is guided by a holistic concept inspired by Asian and European traditions.
The spa - located over two floors and crafted from onyx, teak and Vicenza stone - features 11 private treatment rooms and a double spa suite with a steamroom and a whirlpool.
A nail salon; a 25m swimming pool; and a 150sq m (1,615sq ft) fitness area also form part of the spa, health and beauty area, which is open to exclusive members and hotel guests.
Elsewhere, the hotel boasts a private 47-seat screening room with cinema-quality vision and sound and a library of more than 500 films; Il Bar; Il Ristorante; and meeting facilities.
Antonio Citterio, Patricia Viel and Partners designed the new Bulgari Hotel and Residences, London in conjunction with Squire and Partners. The developer is Prime Development.
A spokesperson said: "The Bulgari Hotel & Residences, London, pay tribute to Bulgari's silversmith origins and Britain's noble manufacturing traditions with an understated, elegant design concept with silver forming the underlying theme of the design."
