Hall Arts Hotel, designed by HKS Architects and Bentel & Bentel, opens in Dallas
The Hall Arts Hotel, which has been designed by HKS Architects with interiors by Bentel & Bentel, has opened in Dallas, allowing guests to stay surrounded by luxury boutique design and a diverse collection of artworks.
Work on building two towers on the site actually began in the 1980s and a seven-level underground car-park that remains to this day, but the project was halted due to a real estate crash.
The land was subsequently bought by the Hall Group, who built the KPMG Plaza office tower, which opened in 2015, and for whom the Hall Arts Hotel will be the second and final phase of development on the land.
The hotel is said to be the first to be located in the Dallas Arts District and offers 19 suites inspired by the district, as well as 183 guest rooms.
Each room has been designed to convey a sense of contemporary sophistication, with soft, neutral hues and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Guest have access to a rooftop pool and a fitness centre, as well as a restaurant, lounge and an outdoor terrace.
Elsewhere, there is over 6,000sq ft (560sq m) of meeting and events space, a 2,500sq ft (230sq m) ballroom and an outdoor urban garden.
