Celebrity Cruises partners with Gwyneth Paltrow, Kelly Hoppen, Jouin Manku, Tom Wright and Daniel Boulud
Actress, entrepreneur and founder of lifestyle brand goop Gwyneth Paltrow has been appointed wellbeing advisor for cruise operator Celebrity Cruises.
Paltrow has designed a wellness concept called goop at Sea for the company’s new luxury liner Celebrity Beyond, complete with a spa designed by Kelly Hoppen.
Celebrity Beyond will also showcase the design talents of designer Nate Berkus; Paris-based design firm Jouin Manku; architect Tom Wright; and the culinary gifts of Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud.
Celebrity Beyond is set to launch on 27 April 2022 with goop at Sea as well as new cabins, called AquaClass Sky Suites, designed as wellness retreats to help guests restore and rebalance.
All AquaClass guests across Celebrity Cruises’ fleet (excluding Galapagos sailings) will be treated to onboard wellness offerings and programming curated by Paltrow and goop, who will also participate in Celebrity Cruises’ new Women in Wellness initiative.
Celebrity Beyond’s spa will feature 23 treatment rooms, a float room, crystalarium, infrared sauna, hammam, salt room, mist aroma steamroom and rainfall room, plus fitness areas and beauty services.
Celebrity Beyond will become the sister ship to Celebrity Cruise’s existing ships Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Apex, both of which have substantial spa concepts.
