HBA London breathe new life into Zagreb hotel
Architecture studio HBA London (HBA) have designed the Amadria Park Capital, a boutique hotel in the centre of Zagreb, Croatia.
The newly opened establishment, which was co-developed by the Ugo Group, occupies the former site of a Roaring Twenties-era bank and features 109 rooms and 3 suites.
Each guestroom is also furnished with artwork curated by HBA and Muzeo Iconographic Design.
Other amenities at Amadria Park Capital include a restaurant fitted with an indoor garden as well as a bar and cafe retaining much of the building's original Secessionist and Viennese-style interiors.
Speaking on the hotel’s completion, Constantina Tsoutsikou, creative director at HBA London said: "This has been a very special project because the client gave us creative free rein to think afresh and design a hotel that is different for Zagreb.
"There will be something of a Croatian fairy tale to the guest experience."
The hotel, which opened to the public earlier this fall, is the 16th venue to be added to Amadria Park’s countrywide portfolio.
