Onion's reading space gives users a choice of atmospheres

Thai architects Onion have created a community reading space in Bangkok called Samyan Co-op that offers different types of seating and atmosphere to suit different types of users. The project was commissioned by Golden Land Property Development, who were planning to build a new commercial mall and wanted to give something back to society. American design firm Graham Baba Architects (GBA) have created Deep Dive, a speakeasy-style bar that's loosely inspired by the scientific romance novels of Jules Verne. Located at The Amazon Spheres in Seattle, Washington, the drinking spot – like a Victorian cabinet of curiosities – is furnished with ornate display cases and various assortments of flowers, dioramas, and objets d'art.
