Kanva completes CA$25m redesign of Montreal's 'living museum', the Biodome

Work has been completed on the redevelopment of Montreal's Biodome – a science museum which occupies the site of the former velodrome built for the 1976 Olympic Games. WATG designs AYANA Komodo resort in Indonesia

International design firm WATG has created the first five-star resort on Flores Island, Indonesia. The tropical getaway takes the form of the region’s infamous reptilian indigene – the Komodo dragon – and occupies a 3.4-acre expanse on Waecicu Beach. Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission (MSFC) has selected Birdair Inc to replace the roof of the Metrodome stadium in Minneapolis, US. The Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission in Minneapolis, US, has confirmed that snowfall caused the inflatable roof on the city's Metrodome to deflate. Birdair, the company which manufactured and installed the roof, has already carried out an inspection of the structure to determine how long repair work will take. American Football team Minnesota Vikings was forced to move its fixture with New York Giants to Ford Field, Detroit following the incident.
