Bart Dohmen leaves BRC for new role with Mansveld
Bart Dohmen, who heads up BRC Imagination Arts EMEA division, has announced that he will be leaving the experience design agency for a new position with media integration specialists Mansveld IMP.
Dohmen’s focus will be managing the AV and lighting solutions team and expanding Mansveld’s presence within the attractions industry.
Since joining BRC in 2004, Dohmen has helped grow the company’s European operations and overseen projects in the region, most recently, the newly opened Jameson distillery and brand home in Dublin, Ireland.
Dohmen started his career as an electronic engineer with Laser promotions when he sometimes collaborated with Mansveld on projects, including Amsterdam’s Heineken Experience. He then moved to Rexroth Hydraudyne, working on attractions sector projects such as the London Eye and the Catastrophe Canyon at Disneyland Paris.
With 25 years experience in the themed entertainment industry, Dohmen is well positioned to promote Mansveld to clients in the sector.
“Throughout the years Bart and Mansveld worked on many great projects together,” said Ruud Mansveld, owner of the Mansveld Group. “Mansveld IMP is ready for a new step in a more international future now. Bart’s expertise and background will help us with that.”
Dohmen said: “When Ruud asked me for this job, it immediately felt comfortable and I am very much looking forward to starting.”
He commences his role as managing director on 1 April 2017.
